The World is facing a very severe problem of the decade and it is the outbreak of Novel coronavirus, which was later named COVID -19 by WHO on 11 Feb 2020. Coronavirus was first found in the late '90s when a severe acute respiratory disease was seen in chickens. Later in 2003 at least 5 unfamiliar types of coronaviruses was identified. Coronavirus is a family of viruses found in birds, animals, and Humans. The    COVID -19 is a group of viruses, mainly attacking Humans by degrading or attacking the Respiratory system. This virus is named CORONA which is a Latin word for Crown, as this virus has spikes on it outer surface and looks like a crown so this                                                                                               is how this virus is named as Corona Virus.

  How did this Virus arise and from where?

        In Nov 2019 a 55 year old women who used to sell shrimps in the Wuhan market located in Hubei province tested positive for Covid-19, then  in Dec 2019 a total of 27 out of 41 peoples who were hospitalized tested positive and assumed as they have passed through the same market. Some Sources claims that this virus may have orginated from peoples who Consumed Bats meat as many Betacoronaviruses that have been discovered are mainly found in Bats. While other Sources say China was preparing a Bio Weapon which could be used for Biological War. Some Scientists even suggest coronavirus is a  genome mixup of two or more viruses. Although it is not totally confirmed what is the source of this virus.

Wide spread and Countries Affected.

        As coronavirus first case came from china in Nov 2019 and after that 27 positive cases were found out in Dec 2019. On December 31st 2019 Chinese Health ministry informed WHO about these disease and Still this virus was unknown. Later in January China announced the first death while Thailand reported first case and was expected the person reported had returned from Wuhan, China.
By the end of January 2020 the death toll in china crossed 100 and this disease was spread in most of countries in the Asian continent. On January 30th WHO declared this disease as global emergency and was named Coronavirus, 11th Feb 2020 WHO declared the new coronavirus to be called "COVID-19". In the middle of Feb 2020 this virus was spread amongst 180 countries. By March 2020 the virus created a new hotspot in many of the European countries and many nations in Europe  decalred complete Lockdown and released Orders to stay people in quarantine.Italy, Spain,United Kingdom and germany were the most affected countries till the end of march the Virus was spread all over the world and infected many peoples. In April 2020 the hotspot of this virus was then shifted from Europe to the United states and Canada with almost 3,00,000 people infected with this virus and stillcountingg.
